Shores Community Center

Welcome to the Shores Community Center

In addition to housing our new City Council Chambers, the Center will provide:

• Classes for residents in areas such as music lessons, cards, and exercise
• Activity Room for residents to drop by for table tennis, pool, cards, or to gather and have a cup of coffee!
• Outside, six clay tennis courts are free and open to the public, in addition to bocce ball and shuffleboard
• Veterans Park on the west side of the building houses a tribute to all of our honored veterans.

Venue

The Center is the perfect venue for ceremonies, parties, small gatherings and corporate uses - based on availability. The upstairs Community Room adjacent to the west balcony has views of spectacular sunsets over the Halifax River and the Veteran’s Garden area. The room can be divided in half for smaller activities.
