RFQ Professional Engineering Services Open Nov 19th @ 2:00pm

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Daytona Beach Shores, Volusia County, Florida (City), is soliciting, pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, known as the Consultant Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Statements of Qualifications from professional respondents, licensed in the State of Florida to provide engineering services pursuant to a continuing services contract. Submissions will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018, at which time the receiving period will close. Any submission received after the time and date specified above will be returned unopened.

 

Specifications are on file and available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk, who can be contacted at (386) 763-5364. Copies thereof may be obtained upon request to the City Clerk.

 

Please submit One (1) clearly marked unbound original (3-hole punched preferred) and five (5) bound copies of the proposal in a sealed envelope or box addressed to the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Daytona Beach Shores, 2990 S. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach Shores, Florida 32118, and plainly marked on the outside “Continuing Engineering Services.” The City is not responsible for the U.S. Mail or private carriers or messengers regarding delivery to the City by the specified time. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals and to waive any or all non-substantial irregularities in items received whenever such rejection is in the best interest of the City, or to accept the proposal which best serves the interest of the City. In accordance with Section 287.133(2)(a), Florida Statutes, any person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017), Florida Statutes,  for Category Two for a period of thirty six (36) months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list.
