The City of Daytona Beach Shores is currently issuing HURRICANE PASSES to residents, property owners and business owners and their essential personnel.  If you obtained a pass during the 2009 season you do not need a replacement.
Hurricane passes will be available through the mail.  To obtain a pass please send a self- addressed stamped envelope with proof of residency or ownership. (i.e., copy of tax bill, electric bill, etc.)  Please mail to Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety, 3050 S Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach Shores, FL 32118. Attn: Joanne Sweeney
Driver’s License:  A driver’s license with a Daytona Beach Shores address may still be used.   However, a Hurricane Pass will expedite your return in the event of a storm evacuation. 
Hurricane Passes can be obtained at the Daytona Beach Shores City Hall, 2990 S. Atlantic Ave. or  the Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety, 3050 S. Atlantic Ave.  Proof of residency or ownership is required.  Passes are available for pickup Monday – Friday 8 am – 4 pm.
