I was raised in Maryland and I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland. During my extensive corporate career, I held various executive management positions in the Technology and Telecommunications fields. After leaving Corporate America, I founded a very successful investment company with my wife Ellen, where we helped our clients invest their savings and grow their wealth. Ellen and I have been married for 18 years and have one daughter, Michelle.

For 17 years I lived in the Tampa area. My love for Daytona Beach Shores began several years ago when I stayed here while playing in the USTA state championships in Daytona Beach. Like many of you, Ellen and I immediately knew we wanted one day to call this beautiful community our home. Upon my retirement in 2017, we moved to the Shores full time.

Since then, I have enjoyed serving on the City’s Planning and Zoning Board and for my second consecutive year as President of the Palma Bella HOA.

I am also an active participant in and supporter of the Greater Volusia Tennis League and the United States Tennis Association. I am amazed at the beautiful, high quality clay tennis courts here in our city. They are the finest clay courts on which I have ever played.

I am extremely proud of Daytona Beach Shores and I am anxious to continue moving our City forward in a positive direction. I congratulate Mel Lindauer on his re-election to City Council and I’m excited to work together with him and my fellow council members in November to maintain a safe, financially stable and service-oriented city. I strongly believe that “Life is Better Here.”
